Video Game Music Composition Contest!

Noteflight is pleased to announce a new composition contest for video game music. With three eminent video game composers on the judging panel, this contest will offer the Noteflight community the challenge of setting a scene from a video game to original music. The winning compositions will be professionally performed and streamed live on the web.

The contest judging will be led by Shota Nakama, the creator and producer of Video Game Orchestra and founder of SoundtRec Boston. Shota is an active user of Noteflight, and an arranger/orchestrator for some of the biggest video game titles such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Shota will be joined by fellow judges Gerard K. Marino (God of War, Spider Man) and Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Super Mario RPG, Parasite Eve, etc.).
